We knew the time was coming....

Joe will be leaving next month for a deployment to Afghanistan. Not much else to say other than keep him in your prayers.

Until July. Yall becareful with hurricane Ike! I"m glad Joe will be there with yall for it. I'm glad your a couple of hours inland! People say these storms are getting bigger, but in 1950 only 500K people lived in Louisiana. Now 2008 there's almost a million residents so ofcourse the damages are greater. It's the people who are choosing to live on the coastlines. They are developing there and that's where the hurricane's hit. WHY they would continue to rebuild a city that sits below sea level is beyond me! Lets pump our oil from Louisiana and write that state off.

He will be in my prayers - but I know you have a lot of support through me, your family, and your air force family. Love to all!

ugh I'm sorry to hear he's deploying next month! How long will he be gone? My Joe is also deploying to Afghanistan in Feb. Maybe they'll run into each other, depending of course where they are stationed at.
