We're Here!

We arrived safe and sound here in Okinawa Monday night. The flights went really well and the kids did great. The animals survived the flights and the poor things are still at the kennels until we get our house which we found out should be next Thursday.

About the house. Its tiny, why did I ever complain about my old house. We are only going to be given a three bedroom home. Had Carter been a girl we would get a four bedroom, how does that seem fair? Oh well, we will make it work. We haven't been able to see a whole bunch of the island yet. We still need to purchase a car but first have to pass our driving test. Which is Friday and then I think we get our license on Monday or something like that. Though one of the ladies Joe works with has let us borrow their car so we are already practicing. Shush....don't tell! For driving on the other side of the road we are doing quite well.

Well, I must get going. I am at the community center

Yeah! Glad you made it safe and sound. Too bad about the house though. Ugh. That welcome basket was super nice though!

So glad you made it safe! Lily slept the exact same way on the plane...how do kids do that?? The fruit looks just like Korean fruit...giant. I didn't realize that you guys drove on the other side of the road. I had to get my Korean drivers license but I think your test might be a little harder:) Can't wait to hear all about your adventures!

I'm so glad you made it safely! It's still crazy to think you are over there....we'll have to do that skype thing to keep in touch! I'm sure once things get settled you'll have more time. We'll sure miss you here - you do realize both of our young 'uns will be walking and almost in school next time we see each other! WOW! Keep us posted when you have time and enjoy yourself!

Hey Kidos,

I glad the kids took care you you and Joe. Looks like you were in good care. Was the flight long for you? Good to have Joe back on good soil. Take care and hope to hear from you soon....

You should not only be a photographer but a packer as well. Good job on all.

I'm glad you made it there safely and everyone did well on the flight over! I'm sure it was exhausting though. I don't know if I could ever get used to driving on the other side of the road! :)
