I overheard Carter telling the neighborhood kids today where his daddy is. He said "Our dad is at the airport."
Gosh he has been at that airport for a long time now. *grin* I keep telling him that his daddy is in Afghanistan but he keeps telling everyone he is at the airport.
I guess it makes since to a three year old, after all that's where we dropped him off at.

:) Kassidy thought the same thing when she was younger! We went to the airport while Frank was gone and she exclaimed, "LOOK! It's DADDY'S house!" Funny but heartbreaking at the same time!
Wasn't there a movie where a guy lived in the airport? Oh yea, I think that was Tom Hanks! So this is the sequel starring Carter's daddy. Wink wink...

When Joe was gone the last time and Kayla would ask for "Daddy" I would say daddy's not here remember? SHe would reply "at airport, bye bye on airplane" it is hard for them to grasp where they've gone to!
Where in Afghanistan is your hubby? Mine will be there shortly, maybe they'll be at the same location?
