Trying to stay busy while Joe is away

While Joe is gone and I don't like to cook much we have been going out and trying to stay busy.

Tomorrow will be the start of day 5 with no mimi's. I had to do this while Joe was a way, he is going through withdrawals also. :) 

Chase cried the first night then asked about it the next day for nap time. Went to sleep no problem. Asked about it at bed time, went to sleep no problem and that was the end of it. I thought it was going to be so much harder so I made a sticker chart for him but it hasn't been. We are still filling out the sticker chart so he can get a toy on Sunday. When that will mark one week. :)

Our 10th Wedding Anniversary

I am celebrating my 10th Wedding Anniversary with my kiddos tonight.  They are taking me out to dinner.  Thanks to another military TDY we are celebrating alone.  We have been separated more than together for our anniversaries.  

Here we are 10 years ago on the beautiful Megan's Bay in St. Thomas, VI.

The Ball Pit

To celebrate Aaliyah's birthday with her family they took her to an indoor play place. We tagged along since we are like family anyway.  Chase has so much fun playing with Aaliyah and Bailey and Alannah had a blast.  The older boys got in trouble for throwing the balls at each other but I didn't take any pictures of that.

Joe is leaving me

for the week. He is headed back to the states for a work TDY. I am back to being a single mom to 4. It's a tough job but someone has to do it. ha ha ha

Watching these two babies is so much fun.  They are hilarious and keep us on our toes refereeing. 

Where are we moving to next?

The list is out and we know where we will be stationed next.  I was a little sad to see we are not going to Germany.  Alright I was a lot sad, I had visions of us touring Italy, buying pottery in Poland, seeing the concentration camps, the Eiffel Tower and many other adventures.  I hope that after our 4 years back in the states we can get to Europe.

So, how did I tell the kids where we are going??  I wanted it to be fun and sort of a game so I drew pictures and let them guess after each one.  Bryson had guessed it after the 4th picture.  Not sure exactly how he did that but he is good.
