My last OB appointment

Today September 30th (5 days past due) was my last OB appointment. I saw a different doctor today and lets hope I don't see him on delivery day. I did have him check me and I was at 3 centimeters and he did try to strip my membranes. He said he wasn't sure how well he did....so, not sure what that means but he did tell me to walk a lot. He said that my induction would be for October 5th. That's 5 days away.....that is going to feel like 5 weeks. I am 5 days past my due date, I don't want to wait another 5 days. I am mentally done being pregnant now. I was pretty sad walking out of the appointment. I did ask to have a non-stress test to make sure everything was fine with our little girl. The tech was so nice and she asked if I could feel the contractions I was having. I told her yes I could that they had been happening for a few hours. She said they were coming every 2-3 minutes but needed to be stronger. She gave me quite a bit of a mood lifter. She also told me the doctor I just saw was on call on the 5th and I don't want him to deliver me. She then went on to tell me the doctors on call for the next 5 days. She was awesome. I did realize that the doctor that is on call tonight is the doctor that delivered baby Alannah just last month. If I can get my contractions more painful maybe, just maybe I could have this baby tonight/tomorrow. After I left the non-stress test. I walked the ramp in the hospital for a good hour then came home put Chase in the stroller and walked the hills in the neighborhood until I was tired. I have had contractions all afternoon and now into the evening. Here's to hoping I go into labor tonight.

Due Date ~ September 25th 2011

Bryson's birthday is September 24th. After I found out my due date we talked to Bryson that he might get a new baby for his birthday. He would always get a big smile and then our conversation would eventually change topic. As the date grew closer we would once again bring it up a bit more serious. Bryson would say I am so excited about having a new baby but I really hope she isn't born on my birthday. It became my goal to try and hold out until October 1st. This way they would have their own birthday months. I told Bryson I would try my best. All last week I was trying not to over exert myself. Trying to take it easy....not throw myself into labor. So far so good, we have passed Bryson's birthday so I am in the clear. Here's to holding out for 6 more days. October 1st you are right around the corner.

9 years old

Bryson turns 9 years old today. I can't believe just how big he is getting. We didn't have a huge party for him. I wasn't sure if we were going to have a newborn along for the ride but Bailey has stayed put. Joe took Bryson, Carter, and two of his friends to Round One yesterday. It's a huge indoor play place. It has 3 floors plus the roof of activities like, roller skating, bull riding, basketball courts, batting cages, arcade, and many other things. The kids love that place. They came back home and we had cake and opened presents.

Bailey's coming home outfit.

I looked at all the stores I love online for the perfect coming home outfit. I checked Gap, Old Navy, Ralph Lauren, Gymboree, Carters, Children's Place, Crazy 8, and even scoured ebay trying to find the perfect outfit for our precious baby girl. The only thing close to being perfect was an adorable smocked dress, it was just adorable. Then I got to thinking that maybe I could make her a dress and get the whole family involved. I laid out about 8 fabric choices and Joe picked out the main fabric. I also held up two ribbon choices and the boys settled on this one. I love that we all put our two cents in and created the perfect outfit for our Bailey Girl. After sewing her cute dress I decided she needed a matching hair bow and shoes. My good friend Leann (Alannah's mommy) said Bailey needed a matching blanket with her coming home outfit so she bought me the most perfect blanket to go with her adorable outfit.
My biggest worry now is that she is going to be to big to wear her dress and shoes. My due date is in 1 week. September 25th...you are only a week away!! Holding out until October 1st. Explanation to come later.

Lego Competition

The BX had a lego building contest this weekend. Though the boys didn't win they had an awesome time. Bryson came very close to winning his age group.

Comprehensive Water Park ~ Okinawa, Japan

We love this water park. It's so simple but so much fun. We thought we would hit up the water park one more time before the new baby makes her arrival. She is due in 3 weeks. The time is just flying by.
Our last family picture of 5 before Bailey makes our family complete.
Bailey and I hanging out.
